Beechmont Internet Exchange

The Beechmont Internet Exchange - BHMT-IX

Beechmont is currently served with ADSL1 and ADSL2+ services.  Check the ADSL coverage map here.....     Telstra has put a 4G mini-cell on the Beechmont Exchange tower.   That might help some people on long lines now for the 4G speeds are pretty good.

Beechmont is too small for NBN fibre.  NBN is talking about fixed wireless, but is silent on when and where.   

Needs a community broadband network.......    The Beechmont Area Progress Association Inc (BAPA) is looking at options.  Details on http://ix.beechmont.org.au
