Huawei of China has delivered equipment for a 100 Gigabit/second coherent link between Amsterdam and London. Apparently, this equipment can run over 600 kilometre of fibre without need for electronic repeaters. The new data link is operated by KPN Telecom NV of the Netherlands. |
